Our story

Sharath Ventures began in New Zealand in 1988 under founder Murray Crawshaw. The name Sharath reflects the idea ‘to minister, serve, attend or wait upon’—a simple promise of practical service that shaped the business from the beginning.

In 2020, Murray retired and handed the reins to Solomone, asking him to carry the Sharath name forward as Sharath Ventures 2020. Today, the curtain side of the business trades as Curtain Finish, supplying reliable Roman blind accessories and finishing components to customers across New Zealand.

We remain proudly New Zealand owned, guided by the same values: serve well, offer dependable products, and support local homes, makers and trade professionals.
